PRIDE is a nonprofit organization that brings together residents, business people, community leaders, and civic organizations to improve the business districts in Punxsutawney. The vision of PRIDE is to have business districts that are dynamic, attractive, and friendly to consumers and businesses. The unique streetscapes are uniform and safe. Storefronts, sidewalks, lighting, and other public elements are consistent throughout the community providing a unique look and feel to the districts. PRIDE works to maintain a mix of retail, service, and professional businesses along with entertainment, cultural, and recreational opportunities to attract shoppers from neighboring communities, neighboring states and across the world to the home of Punxsutawney Phil.
