Punxsutawney Area Community Foundation: Firefighter Fund

The Firefighters Fund of PXYCF honors Punxsutawney area firefitghters by supporting the acquisition of equipment and trainnig. 

The Punxsutawney Area Community Foundation, Inc. (PXYCF) is an independent, tax-exempt Foundation serving the Punxsutawney Area.  The Foundation develops, invests, and distributes resources to charitable not-for-profits in the greater Punxsutawney area, nurturing organizations which positively impact the quality of life and the economic opportunities of the community and its members.

The services available through the community foundation include: 🗹 Opportunity for individuals to create a legacy through establishing an endowment to support their interest in the community. 🗹 Support the development of scholarship funds to assist local students to advance their education. 🗹 Support for charitable not-for-profit organizations wishing to maximize the return on their investments. 🗹 Coordinate training and technical assistance for local not-for profit organizations to improve their capability to serve.
